Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using this website (https://dakinivision.com) and the services offered by Jill Ansell, MFA, MA, LPCC, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or services.

Services Provided

Dakinivision provides online psychotherapy services to adults throughout the state of New Mexico. Jill Ansell is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor licensed in New Mexico (LPCC #0153951).

Services are provided via telehealth (secure video conferencing) only. This is not a crisis service. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please call 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), call 911, or go to your nearest emergency room.

Scope of Practice

Services are limited to clients physically located in New Mexico at the time of their session, as required by state licensing laws. I provide individual psychotherapy for adults and elders. I do not prescribe medication, provide custody evaluations, or offer forensic services.

Fees & Payment

  • Free discovery call: 15 minutes, no charge
  • Intake appointment: $250 (90 minutes)
  • Individual session: $175 (50 minutes)

Payment is due at the time of service. I accept credit cards, debit cards, and HSA/FSA cards via secure online payment. I am a private-pay practice and do not bill insurance directly. Superbills for out-of-network reimbursement are available upon request.

Cancellation Policy

Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) and missed appointments (“no-shows”) will be charged at the full session rate.

Telehealth Consent

By using telehealth services, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are physically located in New Mexico during sessions
  • You will be in a private, safe location during sessions
  • You have a reliable internet connection and a device with camera and microphone
  • There are potential risks to telehealth, including technology failures and limitations of non-in-person communication
  • You will not record sessions without written consent from both parties

Informed Consent

Therapy is a collaborative process. While many people benefit from psychotherapy, results are not guaranteed. Therapy may involve discussing difficult topics and experiencing uncomfortable emotions. You have the right to ask questions about your treatment, refuse any recommended treatment, and end therapy at any time.

A full informed consent document will be provided and reviewed before beginning therapy.
